Please read these terms carefully before using our services

1. Introduction

Welcome to Chaudhry Traders Co. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and auction services.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Chaudhry Traders Co. if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

2. Auction Participation

To participate in our auctions, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide valid identification (CNIC/Passport)
  • Register with accurate contact information
  • Pay the required refundable deposit
  • Agree to abide by all auction rules and regulations

3. Bidding Rules

All bids placed are binding contracts. Once you place a bid, you are legally obligated to purchase the item if you are the highest bidder. Key bidding rules include:

  • The auction will be conducted on an "as is, where is" basis.
  • The successful bidder shall deposit 25% of the bid amount in cash on the spot.
  • The remaining amount shall be deposited within 7 days of approval, along with applicable taxes (10% for filers and 20% for non-filers).
  • In case of failure to deposit the remaining amount within the stipulated period, the advance amount shall be considered forfeited.
  • The authorized officer reserves the right to cancel any lot or the entire auction.
  • To participate in the auction, the bidder must bring the original CNIC along with 2 photocopies.
  • All bids must be in increments as announced by the auctioneer
  • The auctioneer has the final say in all bidding disputes
  • We reserve the right to reject any bid at our discretion
  • Shill bidding or any form of bid manipulation is strictly prohibited
  • Online bids are subject to the same rules as in-person bids

4. Payment Terms

Successful bidders must complete payment within 48 hours of auction completion. Accepted payment methods include:

  • Cash (for amounts up to PKR 100,000)
  • Bank transfer
  • Pay order / Demand draft
  • Certified cheque

Failure to complete payment within the specified timeframe may result in forfeiture of deposit and potential blacklisting from future auctions.

5. Item Collection

All purchased items must be collected within 7 days of auction completion. Items not collected within this period may be subject to storage charges or may be re-auctioned. Buyers are responsible for:

  • Transportation and loading costs
  • Proper packaging and handling
  • Any damages occurring after the auction

6. "As Is" Condition

All items are sold "as is, where is" without any warranty or guarantee, express or implied. Chaudhry Traders Co. makes no representations or warranties regarding the condition, quality, or fitness for purpose of any auction items. Bidders are encouraged to inspect items during preview periods before bidding.

7. Buyer's Premium

A buyer's premium may be applied to successful bids. The premium percentage will be clearly stated in the auction catalog and announced before the auction begins. This premium is in addition to the hammer price.

8. Cancellation Policy

Once a bid is accepted, it cannot be cancelled or withdrawn. All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be provided except in cases of proven misrepresentation by Chaudhry Traders Co.

9. Limitation of Liability

Chaudhry Traders Co. acts as an agent for the seller and shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or injuries arising from:

  • The condition or quality of auction items
  • Any errors or omissions in auction descriptions
  • Transportation or handling of purchased items
  • Any other matters related to the auction process

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Chaudhry Traders Co. and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through arbitration in Lahore, Pakistan, in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on all parties.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
